Inside the mind of a master procrastinator

1. Procrastinator   拖延者  (noun)

→ someone who keeps delaying things that must be done

2. Rational Decision-Maker  理性決策者  (noun)

→ based on clear thought and reason, a person who decides things, especially at a high level in an organization

3. Panic monster  恐慌怪獸  (noun)

→ to suddenly feel so worried or frightened that you cannot think or behave calmly or reasonably

Summarize the talk :

In addition to rational decision makers, the procrastinator’s brain also has a Instant Gratification monkey, so procrastinators often drag things to the last moment. There are two kinds of procrastination, when there's deadlines, the effects of procrastination are contained to the short term, but there's a second kind of procrastination that happens in situations when there is no deadline. If there is no deadline, there will be no panic monsters, so the effect of delay is not suppressed, but it will extend forever.
